  • Flexible Schedule: Embrace a 4 nights on, 4 nights off rota with 10 pm starts, providing a balanced work-life routine. OR the option of working Monday to Friday.
  • Attractive role – Your job will be a mixture of trunking and trailer swaps, with minimal multi-drop deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reliable Deliveries & Collections: As a Class 1 Driver, you will efficiently conduct deliveries and collections, ensuring that goods are safely transported and arrive on schedule. Your role is crucial in maintaining the supply chain’s integrity and reliability.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform thorough daily checks on your vehicle, promptly reporting any issues to ensure smooth operations. Your attention to detail helps maintain our fleet in top condition.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the depot team to meet deadlines and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence. Your cooperative spirit will help foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Paperwork Accuracy: Accurately complete all delivery notes, timesheets, and relevant paperwork, ensuring all records are meticulously maintained. Precision in documentation is essential for operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Your commitment to safety ensures not only your well-being but also that of your fellow road users.
What You Need:
  • A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
  • Previous experience in a similar HGV driving role is essential.
  • A clean driving record with no more than 6 points on your licence, and absolutely no DD, DR, or IN convictions.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach to interactions.
