As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Supply Materials Manager to our global team.About the RoleThe Supply Planning team are responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels to support the sales demands in SharkNinja's rapidly growing European business. As Supply Materials Manager you will interface with Demand Planning, Commercial Planning, Sales and Operations teams, as well as Co-Manufacturers and Suppliers, including Third Party warehouses to own the Supply Plan of Raw Materials from multiple vendors to co-packers to meet the demand for certain products/product ranges. Ensuring that the Inbound stock is directed to the right locations to support production plans that then support sales/service targets. There will also be the responsibility of working on either new customer specific products or new product launches into the markets to ensure smooth launches.You will be required to monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods throughout the supply chain - highlighting any stock discrepancies and also to raise recommended purchase requisitions to ensure that production schedules can be met - and recommendations on “safety stock” purchases that take into account the lead-times for items coming from abroad. You will also be responsible for highlighting any raw materials or finished good stock that is nearing end of life and proposing either a usage or disposal plan.Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:
  • Ensure that Purchase Orders (POs) are raised in a timely fashion to meet the raw materials requirements for production to meet sales forecasts, with suitable tolerances as agreed.
  • Monitor raw material and finished good stock levels to ensure that Inventory integrity is maintained.
  • Monitor shelf-life of raw materials and finished goods to ensure that any wastage is flagged prior to exposure and mitigation plans are in place to reduce write-off to a minimum.
  • Monitor usage of raw materials throughout the supply process to ensure that wastage tolerances are met.
  • Inbound raw materials are directed to the right locations and are properly booked in, and POs are closed in a timely fashion.
  • Arrange stock transfers between storage locations and production and vice versa to meet production schedules and customer service levels, to ensure that inventory is maximized and reduce the liability for overstocks.
  • Provide timely reporting on stock availability, stock risks in terms of shortage or shelf-life, performance and demand forecast.
  • Provide reporting of KPI's to enable performance to be understood and highlight any blockages in the process.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to optimize raw material and finished goods inventory.
  • Ability to multi-task and time manage independently; ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge/experience of operating within a Supply Chain/Planning function an essential.
  • Proven results building effective long-term relationships at all levels, internally and externally, and go the extra mile for customers.
