Band 2 Domestic AssistantWe currently have Vacancies for Domestic Assistants to work as part of the Domestic Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust at Stepping Hill Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated people to join our current 204 strong team, who have a passion for delivering a quality cleaning/ decontamination service.As this is a public facing service we are seeking individuals who enjoy customer interaction and have the ability to react to a changing and sometimes challenging environment. Our service covers wards, department and office areas across the site.We use all the latest cleaning equipment and materials. We offer further development via apprenticeships/ NVQ opportunities.There are various hours available for this post - if you are invited to interview, please specify at interview which hours it is from the below that you are interested in25 hours - Monday - Friday 07.00 - 12.00Main duties of the jobTo work as part of the FM operational team, responsible for providing a comprehensive support service in the hospital environment.This will involve carrying out the following Facilities Management functions:The primary function is to work as part of the domestic team and general cleaning within the hospital environment, including clinical and patient areas such as the emergency department, Theatres, wards, non-clinical areas. Ensuring that all barrier nursing and infection related PPE is fully utilised in line with the displayed signs on patient doors.
Ensuring that all cleaning materials are used in accordance with mandated facilities processes.
