Are you a fully qualified Auto Electrician living in the Elland area looking for a workshop based role?Salary: £40,000 plus overtimeFull time, permanent positionShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm.The role of the Auto Electrician:
  • Accurately and quickly diagnose faults using diagnostic laptops, multi meters and other test equipment, following circuit diagrams to undertake repairs, preferably a first time fix to manufacture and DVSA agreed standards.
  • To be able to interpret and remedy vehicle defect descriptions communicated by vehicle users and customers
  • Experience in using a full range of electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete required work within agreed time parameters
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and automotive circuitry
Qualifications for this Auto Electrician role:
  • Levels 1, 2 and 3 City and Guilds Auto Electrician or equivalent qualification.
  • Certified to work on 110/240 volt electrical systems or be prepared to undertake training to gain 110/240 volt electrical certification
  • Experience of working on, diagnosing and repairing a range of heavy goods and/or specialist vehicles.
