Join our growing team and help make a real impact on health and safety across the UK.We are looking for a motivated Water Hygiene Technician to support our expanding portfolio of water hygiene and compliance services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of industry experience who's looking to develop their skills with a company that values growth, quality, and teamwork.What You'll Be Doing:You'll be working on a variety of sites to ensure water systems are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities include:Temperature monitoring of hot & cold water systemsShowerhead cleaning and descalingInspection of cold water tanks and calorifiersExpansion vessel flushingTMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) servicingCleaning & disinfection of cold water storage tanksAssisting the plumbing team with remedial worksWhat Were Looking For:Minimum of 1 years experience in legionella controlRecognised qualification in water hygiene/legionella preventionUnderstanding of ACoP L8, HSG274 & HTM 04-01Good communication and organisational skillsAbility to work both independently and within a teamConfident in writing clear and accurate reportsTravel Requirements and hours:The majority of work will be based around the Midlands, ( Birmingham and the surrounding areas)Some work will be Nationwide and include staying away overnight.This is a 40 hour working week roleWhat We Offer:Competitive salary based on experienceCompany van and fuel card ( van can be used for personal use)Uniform, tablet, work phone and all tools & equipment providedOngoing training and development opportunitiesClear path for progressionPaid overnight accommodation when travellingOpportunities for regular overtime
