- Specialized Expertise: Utilise your expertise in one of the following specialisms to guide and implement sustainable design strategies in projects:
- Energy Modelling & Building Physics
- BREEAM & Green Building Certifications
- LCAs & Embodied Carbon
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, working closely to understand their sustainability goals, and providing tailored consulting services to meet their objectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate sustainability principles into project designs and plans during the planning and design phases.
- Project Leadership: Take ownership of projects, from inception to completion, ensuring that sustainability initiatives are integrated seamlessly and effectively. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local and national sustainability regulations, ensuring that projects adhere to applicable standards and certifications.
- Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis, assessments, and evaluations related to sustainability metrics, energy efficiency, and environmental impact.
- Consultancy: Provide consultative services and strategies for optimising sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmental performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Client Education: Educate clients and project teams about sustainable design principles, benefits, and best practices.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture).
- * Proven experience in one or more of the specified specialisms (Energy Modelling & Building Physics, BREEAM & Green Building Certifications, LCAs & Embodied Carbon).
- * Previous experience in sustainability consulting or a related role, with a demonstrated track record of successful project management.
- * Strong knowledge of sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices.
- * Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- * Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- * Proficiency in sustainability software and tools.
- * Relevant certifications (e.g., BREEAM AP, BREEAM Assessor) preferred.
