Data and how we use it commercially has been key to this change and as the industry faces ongoing disruption from technology and regulation, we need to keep growing and improving our data products to meet our client needs.This is where you come in. As a new addition to our team, you will help us showcase our Commercial Data offering to our ad customers; making data the core of what we do with both clients and media agencies. You will also use your market savvy and skills to shape our data offering in the future and bring our user insights to the forefront of our commercial offering. This is a largely market-facing role, reporting to the Head of Commercial Data & Analytics, and working closely with the Director of Digital Trading.You’ll love this role if;You’re passionate about data and technology and how these intersect to influence the digital advertising industry. We're a very hands-on and supportive team, and what we're looking for is the right attitude toward learning and a keen interest in analysing and understanding data to provide robust support to our sales team, optimising their commercial opportunities.You’re passionate about data and technology and how they shape the world of digital advertising. You have some great skills and experience, but what matters most is your passion for data and your desire to help companies find new ways to solve problems. We're a team that works hard and helps each other, and we want someone who is eager to learn and to use data to give strong support to our sales team and clients, allowing us to over deliver on their expectations.As a Commercial data strategist, you will;
  • Drive digital advertising revenue growth through increased adoption, confidence and use of Immediate’s data products by the sales teams and our clients.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic collaborations with data – such as connecting with media agency data platforms, retail media platforms or enabling advertisers to leverage their first-party-data
  • Support the sales teams with your expertise around Immediate’s data products and capabilities, and digital advertising data more broadly. To achieve this, you will:
  • Ensure that the teams are well equipped to sell our data products, and that our data is used commercially to its full effect.
  • Attend client and agency meetings and present our data proposition in a compelling way.
  • Advise both the sales team and our customers on the best use of our data products and capabilities.
  • Lead and regularly develop our go-to-market data proposition
  • Work closely with our most valuable clients to look for ways in which data can help embed our media in their long-term planning.
  • Help drive the direction of our data product roadmap, by providing insight into what drives value for customers.
  • Stay abreast of the latest market trends and developments relating to data and identity
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of current digital data technologies – for example, Data-Management-Platforms, clean rooms, panel-based surveys or digital IDs.
  • The ability to talk confidently and simplify the topic of data in the context of the media industry.
  • Experience presenting to advertisers, agencies or media owners and responding to data-led advertising briefs
  • A track record of using data to grow advertising revenues, and of developing successful data partnerships with customers.
  • The ability to work closely and collaboratively with a wide ranging set of stakeholders.
  • Independent, proactive individual with curiosity to constantly learn and a creative approach to problem solving
  • Commercial nous.
