- Managing the reception area, welcoming visitors, and handling enquiries professionally.
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring facilities are well-maintained.
- Providing administrative support to the office, including document handling and filing.
- Monitoring and ordering office supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Assisting with health and safety checks and maintaining compliance records.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries efficiently.
- Supporting facilities management by liaising with contractors and service providers.
- Maintaining accurate records and logs related to facilities and reception duties.
- Previous experience in reception or facilities roles, ideally within the public sector (desirable, not necessary).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with office systems and basic IT proficiency.
- A professional and approachable manner when dealing with visitors and colleagues.
- Hourly pay rate of approximately £14.06
