With this as our core focus, we’re looking for talented individuals who share our passion for quality and technical expertise to join our team. Responsibilities:
  • Deliver/Implement advanced secondary analyses of data from EMR and claims data required for epidemiological observational studies from the Respiratory therapeutic area, likely in COPD
  • Provide expert technical input, options and directions to strategic decisions made by observational study teams on study design, data partner selection and best practices in RWD utilization
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and assess strengths and weaknesses of external RWD sources for advancing the epidemiological studies for respiratory therapeutic areas
Qualifications:
  • MS in statistics, mathematics, data science or other advanced degree in life sciences
  • Experience with large datasets, preferable healthcare data
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Proficient in R/Python
  • Hands-on experience with EMR/Health data: disease registries, and/or insurance claims databases (US or UK)
  • Experience within clinical data standards, medical terminologies and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/SNOMED)
  • Experience with data in an OMOP common data model and utilizing OMOP tools
  • Experience with conducting analysis for COPD
