Our respective areas of expertise can be integrated to allow seamless interdisciplinary synergy to create buildings that are more relevant to our evolving society.Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity in our London office is available for a passionate and motivated Graduate Acoustics Consultant looking to take the next step in their career to alongside a team of international Acousticians. Working under the guidance of our Director | Europe, a Fellow of the Institute of Acoustics, you will be collaborating with our existing Acoustics team based in Dubai and as part of a growing UK based team of Acoustics experts to develop a regional offering, working on the design of some of the most exciting projects in the UK and internationally. The position is ideal for the suitable individual to build their skills and be part of a rapidly growing, forward-thinking enterprise in the region.The Role:
  • Provide acoustic design advice in accordance with relevant standards, codes and guidelines
  • Undertake acoustic calculations and modelling tasks using proprietary software, instrumentation and spreadsheet-based tools
  • Perform acoustic and vibration measurements, testing, and analysis of architectural, building services and environmental acoustics
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Attend project meetings (internal and external)
  • Design stage, planning, and commissioning report writing
Qualifications
  • A degree qualification in Engineering or closely related field
  • 0 to 3 years' experience in architectural and environmental acoustic design to architects, developers, and contractors
  • A desire to pursue a career in Acoustics
  • Self-motivated, dedicated, and proactive with a passion for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work
