- Managing tender portal activity to register interest and coordinate the clarifications process in liaison with the Tender Team Manager and SGS / client stakeholders.
- Maintaining CRM records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate meetings and communications with SGS and client stakeholders.
- Completing tender SQ/PQQ questionnaires and compiling supporting evidence.
- Identification of opportunities via SGS search engine(s).
- Interfacing with experts within SGS to gather and collate technical and commercial information.
- Giving input and support to the bid / proposal writing process.
- Ensuring the tender authorisation process, review and bid gateways are adhered to.
- Maintaining the SGS tender document library, keeping key content up to date, including company information, case studies / testimonials.
- Develop and maintain the response content library using meta tags and indexation to streamline the tender response process.
- Keeping information up to date where tender portals require SGS documents to be refreshed annually.
- Extensive and recent tender / bid coordination experience in a similar position within a large corporate organisation within the TIC industry, or a company that regularly supply services to large corporate clients with multi-faceted requirements.
- To be highly results focused and commercially aware, you'll need to think creatively and will have the ability to understand both SGS and client operational requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management, consultants, and clients, with highly developed customer service soft skills.
- Excellent command of client procurement and online tender systems (IE Jaggaer, SAP, Ariba, WAX, in-tend, Delta and Proactis).
- Ability to understand a diverse range of services across multiple industries.
- Excellent command of Microsoft's ecosystem of productivity apps.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical thinking and creative skills.
- Extensive technical tender experience including public procurement processes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver essential requirements by set deadlines.
- Full driving licence for use in the UK.
- Capability and flair for bid writing.
- Experience in the Testing, Inspection and Compliance (TIC) sector.
- Relevant degree or industry qualification (for example APMP).
- Customer Service qualification such as NVQ, Practitioner, Institute of Customer Service.
