- Fabricate, assemble and finish display cases and components, working with glass, metal and joinery elements to produce conservation-grade showcases to precise tolerances.
- Assemble display cases following detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Handle and fit glass panels with precision and care including silicone bonding when required
- Install internal fittings, lighting tracks, and access control mechanisms (hinges, locks, gas struts)
- Assist with the preparation and finishing of components, including powder-coated or anodized metals
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all parts meet required standards before dispatch
- Safely package and load finished products for delivery or storage
- Collaborate with technical and design teams to resolve build issues
- Participate in site installations as needed (travel and overnight stay may be required)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Adhere to QHSE and other company policies and procedures and support our vision to be the customers first choice
- Support the needs of the business by undertaking any task as requested by management provided the task is within your capability and appropriate training is provided
- Previous experience in joinery, shop fitting or metal fabrication
- High attention to detail required to produce high specification parts
- Able to read technical drawings
- Able to competently use hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment
- Practical understanding and application of health and safety procedures
- Good team work abilities
- Able to prioritise own workload to meet production deadlines
- Experience working with glass or in showcase/display manufacturing
- CSCS card or similar for site work
- FLT license
- Manual handling training
- Basic electrical knowledge (e.g LED strip installation)
- Industry related training and support throughout
