Senior Engineer (Civil / Structural)Location: Ipswich or Norwich - plus Hybrid workingSalary: Fully negotiable dependant on level of experience plus package including profit share bonuses.SummaryA successful multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced and motivated Civil / Structural Engineering professional to join their team.Based in their Ipswich or Norwich office with plenty of opportunity for hybrid working this role is ideal for individuals with a background in an engineering consultancy environment who are ready to take on their next challenge.Working on predominantly rail civils, and to a smaller degree, civils structures projects. For example, platforms, canopies, bridges, buildings, retaining wallsThis is a great opportunity for the right person to make a meaningful impact on the future of the business, within a company that values inclusion and the development of its employees at all levels.Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from initial concept through to the construction phase.
- Perform and oversee design work related to , highways, rail and private sector projects.
- Attend client and site meetings as needed.
- Conduct surveys and site inspections.
- Assist with staff training and mentor trainees and graduates.Seeking some with:- Experience in structural engineering in a relevant industry. Ie. Rail, Civils, Highways, Structures, Marine
- UK based experience
- Civil / Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow and interpret instructions clearly.
- Track record of delivering projects through all design stages and construction.
- Full driving license.Ideally:- Professionally qualified with the ICE or IStructE.
- UK experience on similar projects.
