With 4,500 employees we partner with our customers to improve their business success.The Lead Operator role is to manage a small team of technicians to deliver all contracted management duties at the Rolls Royce Rotative. This role is based at Derby.Join the team and find your future!TasksLead a team of support operators at the Derby site to ensure our Metal Working lubricants, greases, coolants, cleaners and other Quaker Houghton industrial fluids necessary for the client’s manufacturing process, are working under the best conditions.Other tasks include:
  • Ensure that the team keeps equipment & products involved properly maintained and operated.
  • Administrative and data entry tasks into our software application.
  • Maintain constant communication with the Quaker Houghton teams involved and the main customer stakeholders.
  • Ensuring machines have sufficient lubricant supply by regular scheduled volume checks.
  • Complying with Quaker Houghton EHS policies & procedures, ensuring mandatory tasks are completed within a specific time frame.
Requirements
  • We are looking for someone with Leadership skills and team management experience in a manufacturing sector. Even though it is an advantage, no industrial experience is necessary.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Good IT skills with the use of office 365 software packages are essential.
