Experience in Professional and Beauty Salon market desirable with self-autonomy and drive to bring ideas to the table and work with Marketing to launch successful and innovative products to the market. This role will ensure new products are developed and delivered in time for launch, achieving required quality at the right price in line with company targets.About usPDC are a market-leading company with a strong portfolio of brands. What you can expect from a role with us is flexibility, autonomy with no micromanagement, supportive managers and peers, and opportunities to progress.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESManage new and existing product development for the Salon division, in the category of Lash and Brow.Brief suppliers, obtain quotations and samples, negotiate costs, and prepare gross margin calculation for internal approval.Sample management & organisation: receiving, labelling, sending parcels for internal teams and suppliers.Manage spreadsheets, trackers & CPAs - ensure these are updated dailyManage all development & approved PPS, keeping these labelled and stored appropriately and allocating to the other teams as and when neededManage the development CPA's and ensure each team follows through with tasks by key datesEscalate issues promptly to line managerSupport with monthly NPD Gate meetings to update company on projects.Ensure all products are tested for performance and approved by Regulatory department.Engage with Quality Assurance for sample approvals.Liaise with Planning/Purchasing team to place orders.Responsible for uploading product data/BOM's to internal systems (Syteline)Manage the product specification sheets; updating, issuing and filing correctlyAd-hoc duties to support the NPD team as and when requiredSKILLS and EXPERIENCEAt least 2-3 years' experience in NPD Project ManagementExperience with working with international suppliers (European & Far East)Attention to detail - very important for data inputTeam player - collaborative working styleAbility to work independently in a fast paced environmentAbility to multi-task and work on simultaneous requestsGood project management and organisation skillsGood communication skills; both written and verballyExperience in the beauty market with knowledge of cosmetics, a knowledge of lash and brow products or Salon products would be advantageous.
