This is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller to work on a permanent Night shift and join an established engineering company with a long history of excellence in the manufacturing sector.This role offers a secure position within a modern and well-equipped facility, with continuous investment in new machinery and employee development who also has commitment to training an industry-leading five-year apprenticeship programme, ensuring career growth and progression.Who This Job Would SuitThis role is ideal for an experienced CNC Miller / Machinist with a strong background in precision engineering. It would suit someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be adaptable, motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machine tools, specifically the Toyoda twin pallet machine, to produce medium - large components to exact specifications and tolerances.
  • Support and mentor colleagues and trainees, contributing to their development as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
  • Interpret and work from technical engineering drawings to manufacture components efficiently.

Salary
  • 10pm-6am (£24.16 per hour)
  • OTE: £50,000+ (uncapped overtime available).
