- Support working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Assist pupils with special educational needs through the delivery of specific learning programmes and contribute to setting and reviewing individual education plan targets.
- Monitor and evaluate pupils’ responses to learning activities and track their progress towards targets.
- Advance learning by working with individuals, small groups, and whole classes without the presence of the assigned teacher.
- Provide 1-1 support.
- Experienced in a similar role
- Be happy to work in a Secondary School
- Able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues
- Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities
- Able to relate well to children and adults and build effective relationships
- Committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in the school environment
