As the final checkpoint in our process, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality products to the end user.As the Masting Operative, you will work Monday to Thursday 21:00 to 06:45. This is a permanent position which you will receive a 33% shift upliftThis is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, looking to join a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety, precision, and continuous improvement are key.To be successful as the Masting Operative, it is essential that you have previous experience in:

Final product quality inspection
Working from technical or engineering drawings
Using hand air tools for polishing and cosmetic finishing
Operating in a team-based manufacturing environment
Experience in working at height or fine tolerance work would be desirable

Masting Operative Responsibilities:

Complete allocated jobs to specification, ensuring Right First Time (RFT) delivery
Read and accurately interpret technical product drawings
Carry out polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools
Maintain high housekeeping standards and comply with Health & Safety protocols
Support team flexibility and continuous improvement through cross-skilling

Masting Operative Requirements:

Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workloads effectively
Proficient in interpreting and reporting technical data
Skilled in working with fine tolerances and quality standards
Experience using hand tools and working from technical drawings
Comfortable working at height using mobile platform ladders (training provided if needed)
