- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities in road, air, and ocean freight
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies
- Deliver revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and tenders to win new accounts
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and results
- Proven experience in sales or business development within freight forwarding, supply chain, or customs
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international freight movements
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Full UK driving licence (car allowance provided)
- Self-motivation and independence
- Resilience and persistence in achieving targets
- Awareness of import/export procedures and documentation
- Familiarity with transport management systems (TMS) or CRM tools
- Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
