
Commissioning Service Engineer - HV/LV Switchgear

- Install, commission, and maintain switchgear, transformers, and related equipment (400V–33kV).
- Perform testing and diagnostics, including Partial Discharge, thermal imaging, and oil sampling.
- Lead on-site activities, supervising teams and coordinating with project managers.
- Work flexibly, including travel across the UK and internationally, as part of a 24/7 on-call rota.
- Produce reports and documentation to ensure high standards of work completion.
- Experience working with electrical distribution systems, switchgear, or transformers.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of HV/LV systems and electrical safety regulations.
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly, including some overseas assignments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to supervise teams on-site.
