There is lots of training available for the successful position and our SLT run regular CPD for all staff. The role of a TA is much more “all encompassing” and you will provide some academic support, some 1:1 mentoring, and some “crisis intervention” to support students who need intervention.Standards are high and the young people in the school are supported from day one with a uniform approach by teachers and support staff, and a calm, positive environment is noticed from the moment you enter the school. Hours 8:30am to 3:30pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSRecent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher, OR Experience as a TA in a similar setting
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
