
Analyst/Associate, Transaction Management, Private Equity (2-Year Contract)

- Support deal closing processes in line with the 'TM Service Menu', focussing on GIC's private credit investment strategy;
- Work in close partnership with the Transaction Management team to both enhance and automate key operational processes, and develop and enhance process management, targeting efficiency and scale. Be the go-to resource for queries on application of processes and policies;
- Be the middle office point of contact for external counterparties such as legal counsels, custodians, and KYC / AML agents to assist with TM support functions on a timely basis;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely exchange of KYC documentation, processing of fundings, and resolution of any related queries;
- Record and update status of deal closing tasks in internal digital workflow platform and obtain complete records of closing documentation for circulation to relevant internal stakeholders, and retention in the document management system;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely review, execution, notarisation, exchange, and tracking of both pre-deal and investment documentation;
- Accurately manage processing and reconciliation of investment commitments, financial crimes and compliance (FCC) requests, and audit findings;
- Ensure daily/monthly deliverables/tasks are managed globally with consistent communication across London and Singapore.
- General familiarity and knowledge of investment sector and private sector investing;
- Awareness of documentation related to private transactions, company secretarial practices and the nuances of PE transactions;
- Understanding of loans transactions and investments including related documentation and familiarity with factors impacting execution of loan transactions;
- Appreciation of the commercial, regulatory environment for private sector transactions;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deals at any given time;
- Strong work ethic and proactive attitude toward the role. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams;
- Proven experience in a similar sector or role such as middle office support in investment documentation/structuring and operations/corporate trusts/loans agency.
