- £35,298.88 basic salary
- £4,344.48 annual callout retainer (paid monthly)
- Enhanced overtime rates:
- Time and a half (Monday-Saturday)
- Double time (Sunday & Bank Holidays)
- 12-hour shifts every 5 weeks for planned maintenance shutdowns
- On-call rota: 1 week in every 5
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Maintain and repair mechanical plant, including pumps, rotating machinery, and bearings
- Support with steam boilers and pressure systems
- Work as part of an on-call rota to provide engineering cover
- Contribute during planned maintenance shutdowns
- Operate in a fast-paced, safety-critical manufacturing environment
- Time-served, apprentice-trained mechanical engineer - essential
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering - essential
- Proven experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience working with pumps, rotating machinery, and bearings - essential
- Knowledge of steam systems and pressure equipment is a plus
