This role provides the opportunity to support teachers in delivering lessons, assist pupils with learning activities, and help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.Responsibilities as a Classroom Assistant:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
- Assist pupils individually or in small groups with learning tasks.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to engage in their learning.
- Help prepare classroom resources and organise learning spaces.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Support a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, approachable, and able to motivate pupils.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of different pupils and learning styles.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
