The ideal candidate will be an expert in building backlinks through effective outreach to journalists, managing a team, and leveraging tools such as SEMRush and Ahrefs. With a background in iGaming, Sportsbooks, or Casino, this role involves crafting engaging content and pitches to captivate the attention of journalists in these sectors.Main responsibilitiesLead efforts in building quality backlinks by reaching out to journalists and media outlets, utilizing proven strategies to enhance our digital presenceOversee a team of two members, providing guidance and training on the best practices for backlink building and content engagementUtilize digital marketing tools like Muckrack, SEMRush and Ahrefs effectively for outreach strategies and analysisDevelop and pitch creative, engaging content relevant to iGaming, Sportsbooks, or Casino sectors, ensuring high interest and response from journalists and media entitiesCollaborate with the Senior Team Lead to formulate and implement innovative outreach strategies that align with the company's overall marketing goalsMonitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of outreach campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal resultsStay abreast of the latest trends and developments in digital PR, iGaming, Sportsbooks, and Casino sectors, applying this knowledge to enhance outreach effectivenessMinimum of 3 years in building backlinks through outreach to journalistsProven experience in managing and training a teamStrong understanding and proficiency in SEMRush, Ahrefs, and other relevant digital marketing toolsAbility to create innovative and engaging content tailored for the mediaPrevious experience of executing Digital PR within the US market, and an understanding of how the US media landscape functionsAn understanding of the Canadian market is a plusPreferably a background in iGaming, Sportsbooks, or CasinoExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEducation- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related fieldWhat do we offer you
