Contract role, Local Government Revenue and BenefitsWe are recruiting for an experienced Head of Revenues in North London
The Head of Revenues will provide assurance that the Council is delivering a high-performing, well-managed Local Taxation Revenue Collection Service.
The role involves directing, leading, and managing the provision of high-quality, cost-effective services to the Council for the delivery of Local Taxation Revenue Collection, ensuring that the Council's policy objectives in relation to these services are met .
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of Local Taxation Revenue Collection operations, setting the overall strategic direction and ensuring the customer is at the heart of the services .
- Oversee overall debt for Local Taxation for the whole council and set the practice and monitoring arrangements for this .
- Manage a team of 37 FTEs and a gross service budget of £3m .
- Ensure income collection of £164m Council Tax and £98m Business Rates .
