Production Operative - ManufacturingNewton Abbot, Devon | Day or Night Shifts | £12.21 - £18.66 per hour | Temp to PermAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for Production Operatives to join a growing team at a metal fabrication facility in Newton Abbot.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established manufacturer offering full training, excellent facilities, and potential for long-term employment.Shift Patterns & Pay:
  • Day Shift:
  • Monday to Thursday: 6am - 4pm.
  • £12.21 per hour.
  • Overtime paid at £18.31 per hour.
  • Night Shift:
  • Monday to Wednesday: 6pm - 6am.
  • £13.21 per hour.
  • Overtime paid at £18.66 per hour.
  • Both roles are temporary to permanent, with immediate starts available.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Operating CNC machines to produce metal components to specification.
  • Basic welding and fabrication of metal parts.
  • Quality checking of finished products.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading materials.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production is desirable.
  • Familiarity with CNC machines or welding techniques is beneficial.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Manual handling experience advantageous.
