pursue what mattersAramark UK are currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team working at Junior Ranks Kitchen, Weeton Barracks PR4 3JQ.You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods. We are lucky to have some of the best Culinary and Catering talent that the UK has to offer working within our teams.To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.What do we offer:
  • This is a full-time position, 30 hours per week, (Monday – Friday with occasional weekends). Shifts range between 12:00 and 18:30, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary and hospitality.
  • Hourly rate of £12.38.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:
  • You will be preparing grab and go foods, such as sandwiches, wraps and paninis.
  • You will be cleaning both back and front-of-house, ensuring the unit is clean and tidy before, during, and after service.
  • General front of house duties such as operating the till and cash handling, keeping financial records, providing excellent customer service, and serving customers.
  • Making hot and cold drinks and serving food on the food counters, ensuring you are always adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.
You will be set up for success if you have:
  • Been resident in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
  • Previous experience (if relevant)
