We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Portishead, who is expanding their in-house support function and looking for a Customer Support & Admin Assistant to join their friendly team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that prides itself on delivering excellent customer service and values team members who take initiative and thrive in a collaborative environment.The Role:You'll be supporting a busy customer service desk during the week and taking the lead on Saturday support, ensuring smooth handling of emergency calls and follow-ups. When things are quieter, you'll assist the admin team with general office tasks-so no two days are the same!Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and logging customer calls using internal systems
- Providing first-line support and escalating where needed
- Coordinating weekend/emergency work and ensuring follow-up
- Supporting the admin team with data entry and general office duties
- Working independently on Saturdays and taking initiative during quieter periods
- A trustworthy, self-motivated individual who's confident working solo
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Previous experience in customer service or admin roles is a plus
- Comfortable using IT systems and learning new tools
- Someone who enjoys variety and is happy to pitch in where needed
- Wednesday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- (Optional Tuesday available if preferred)
