- Develop products as directed by the business, for key FoodService clients
- Ensure successful launches of new products from approval to first production in line with internal processes and ensuring Customer standards are met.
- Understand relevant factory processes and attend factory trials and product launches.
- Run and document shelf-life trials to set microbiological and organoleptic standards
- Produce accurate and timely paperwork (trial and shelf-life reports, QASs) and run Critical Paths
- Liaise with Customers, operations, supply chain, commercial and technical teams.
- Support the Innovation Manager in all aspects of the Innovation process.
- Experience in a food/ extract manufacturing experience
- Have developed new products for clients, from conception, through creation and delivered to clients
- Knowledge of Food hygiene and HACCP
- Educated to degree level in Food Science or Technology or similar
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Flexibility to travel to other sites, sometimes at short notice.
- Willingness to take responsibility and assist in the training and mentoring of junior colleagues.
