
Application Support Engineer

- Providing 3rd line support for both in-house and third-party applications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues across PHP, T-SQL, PowerShell, MySQL, and more.
- Supporting system upgrades, patching, and data imports/exports.
- Monitoring batch jobs and system alerts, including out-of-hours support.
- Collaborating with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
- Improving integration and workflows across business-critical systems.
- Strong experience with MySQL and T-SQL for database support and maintenance.
- Hands-on knowledge of PHP, PowerShell, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Familiarity with Windows Server (2016/2019) and Linux (CentOS/RedHat).
- A solid understanding of application security best practices and data warehousing.
- Bonus: Experience in the financial industry, especially with trading systems, FIX messaging, and trade flows.
