
Workshop/Maintenance Technician

- Undertake the preventative and proactive maintenance of diesel driven engines (including but not limited to) Compressors, Slickline Winches, Masts and also the diagnosis and repair of equipment in line with work plans up to the required Company quality and certification standards
- When no mechanical duties are required to be undertaken, assist with general workshop maintenance activities on Wireline Tools, Wireline & Well Test PCE, and other miscellaneous equipment under supervision
- May be required to drive a forklift to undertake the movement, loading and unloading of equipment (provided current driving qualification held)
- Undertake required inspections of equipment and prepare the appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company's policies, procedures and practices. Ensure that all documentation is the correct revision
- Report all incidents and non-conformances in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines
- Update job packs and return to the service delivery supervisor at the end of each work period
- Liaise with various internal departments such as logistics and stores to ensure all required components and movement of items is achieved in line with operational requirements
- Actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/demobilisation updates etc.,
- Participate in on call rota and overtime when required
- Attend and participate in tool box talks and planning meetings
- Liaise with service delivery supervisor, team members & operations personnel ensuring all aspects of the schedule of work are discussed to achieve safe completion of maintenance/repair of the equipment for task completion
- Technical Qualification in Mechanics (NVQ Level 3 in Mechanics) or equivalent
- Previous working experience in a mechanical industry - essential
- Experience with hydraulic pump systems & winch assemblies would be an advantage but training can be provided
