This role involves working on a rota basis covering various shifts over three shift patterns.If you have a passion for supporting people to remain independent, wish to make a difference to people’s lives, and would like to become part of our team then we would love to hear from you!About YouYou will:
  • Have a genuine passion for helping people.
  • Be able to demonstrate our values: inclusion, accountability, respect, collaboration.
  • Be able to display empathy and recognise the rights of independence and choice.
  • Be willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC as well as comply with regulatory standards and codes of practice.
  • Be able to work as part of a team, covering a mix of early and late shifts.
  • Be able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
  • Be required to have a full and satisfactory PVG check prior to starting.
Main Responsibilities
  • Home Support Workers are responsible for providing personal care and housing support in line with care plans agreed by the customer.
  • Assistance with personal mobility support, support with daily personal tasks and general housekeeping.
  • Medication administration from level 1-4.
  • Providing all aspects of care at home, on site, in accordance with Scottish Government guidelines.
