Salary: £42,000 per annumSanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Clinical Team Leader for a specialist neurological care center based in Hitchin. This facility provides care for individuals aged 18 and over with various neurological conditions. As a Clinical Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality holistic care to service users.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the nursing team in developing the quality of nursing care, providing support and advice to colleagues and relatives.
- Manage a designated service user group, consulting and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team and families/carers.
- Assess potential service users in coordination with Health and/or Social Services commissioners and develop individualised care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of service user consultations in compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Conduct formal documented supervision and clinical supervision for clinical staff, ensuring compliance with professional and statutory requirements.
- Identify training needs and support staff development, promoting a learning environment within the workplace.
- Provide educational support to patients, carers, families, and colleagues, facilitating learning and knowledge-sharing.
- Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures to ensure the highest clinical standards and safety of service users and staff.
- Registered Nurse or equivalent degree-level qualification.
- Experience in specialist palliative or neurological care, depending on service requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of current legislation within the independent care sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with service users and their families.
- Proficiency in negotiation and conflict management.
- Capacity to manage change and performance effectively.
- Ability to provide teaching and mentorship in a clinical setting.
