NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.This is a full time (37) permanent post worked over Monday to Friday.We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Service Manager for Theatres and Critical Care to provide leadership and management for a busy and progressive service within the North sector.There is a large staff group within the service and the post holder will ensure that the theatres and critical care team has visible leadership and clear direction.The post holder will have responsibility for working towards service improvements and overseeing the implementation of service development and will be involved with clinical governance for the service.The post holder must be experienced in collaborative working and in developing effective and positive relationships with key stakeholders and providing a positive role model for partnership working and relationship management.With senior management experience in a leadership role, you will have excellent communication skills, you will demonstrate the ability to successfully negotiate and influence others in order to establish credibility with senior colleagues.
