This is a fantastic opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping pupils thrive academically and socially in a supportive classroom environment.As a Primary TA, you will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support to pupils, ensuring they are engaged, confident, and making progress in their learning. Your role will be key in maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere across the classroom.Key Duties of a Primary TA:
- Support the delivery of lessons and learning activities across KS1 and KS2.
- Work with pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
- Assist with classroom organisation and preparation.
- Encourage pupil participation and engagement.
- Help maintain a focused and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress.
- Take part in school events and enrichment activities.
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable.
- CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
- A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is beneficial.
- Positive, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to contribute to a dynamic and evolving school environment.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
