- Engage directly with local residents, particularly in disadvantaged communities, to encourage participation in suitable learning opportunities.
- Provide tailored support to adult learners, ensuring a smooth transition from learning into positive progression pathways such as further study or employment.
- Gather local intelligence to identify learning needs, barriers to progression, and opportunities for curriculum development.
- Coordinate, monitor, and track work experience and placement activities for adult learners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner participation and progression, identifying and addressing barriers as needed.
- GCSE English Language and Maths at grade C/4-9 or equivalent.
- Educated to Level 3 in a related subject area.
- Knowledge of careers guidance and employability skills for adults.
- Understanding of local employability initiatives, DWP priorities, and the adult skills landscape.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word (document and email production) and Excel (basic formulas and data manipulation).
