- GCSE (C/4) English and have a willingness to work towards Level 2 in relevant qualification in working with children or young people
- Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of young people at risk of abuse or harm to identify and record any safeguarding issues in accordance with the Achieving for Children’s Safeguarding procedures.
- Experience of lone working as the lead professional. We will provide specific training but experience of working alone and examples will be an essential part of this work.
- Able to use a range of digital hardware or software to support your work effectively
- Experience of working with young people who display challenging behaviour
- Experience of working alone in the community and holding strong boundaries
- Experience of keeping and maintaining accurate records
- Knowledge and understanding of the life skills needed to live independently and experience in delivering these to young people
- Experience in inspiring young people to engage in positive activities
- Ability to work as part of an effective, flexible and supportive team and willing to work evenings and weekends
- 29 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years with an additional day off in your birthday month (Or for term-time workers, your leave entitlement consists of the non-working periods in your contract)
