- Oversee business control environment and non-financial risk (NFR) frameworks in support of CEEMEA franchise, providing key controls advisory role, with opportunity to manage material deliveries and risk-control topics globally
- Aid delivery of GEM business strategy and initiatives taking a key role designing controls and governance to address risk appetite
- Continuously collaborate with the business to identify risk/control gaps leading on remediation plans
- Manage Audit Portfolio Management and liaison on Audit, Compliance and Regulatory reviews including engagement coordination, audit finding closure materials and issue self-identification
- Manage evolving GEM CEEMEA book-of-work and priorities addressing wider GEM global alignment and driving globally on key deliveries
- Design/manage/execute key relevant controls/tasks within wider control portfolio. Support management in transitioning these to a more efficient/effective target state as required
- Extensive Front-to-Back Risk and Control Expertise (FX/Rates): Deep understanding of the full trade lifecycle, including booking, P&L, and risk management across FX/Rates products. Flow Credit and Financing knowledge/understanding preferred
- Proven Stakeholder Management & Engagement: Demonstrated ability to build/maintain strong relationships with trading, infrastructure, regulators, and management at all levels (including senior management)
- Comprehensive NFR Knowledge: Strong grasp/understanding of FX/Rates non-financial risks, including market conduct (conflicts, benchmarks, surveillance, unauthorised trading) and Emerging Market jurisdictional risks
- Risk Identification, Remediation & Regulatory Engagement: Skilled in identifying material risk issues, ensuring timely escalation, leading complex remediation efforts, and engaging with regulators
- Proactive Leadership & Problem Solving: Independent thinker with proven ability to prioritise and lead a dynamic book-of-work, addressing senior management concerns, analysing and resolving complex issues, and driving change to foster a robust risk culture
- Exceptional Analytical & Communication Skills: Adept at analysing complex issues, synthesising technical information, and presenting clear, actionable solutions to senior management. Strong ethics and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
