Are you a qualified teacher looking for a flexible role with less planning? We’re seeking Cover Teachers to provide general cover across a network of Wigan secondary schools.Role overview:Delivering pre-prepared lessons in a variety of subjects.Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.Supporting pupils with their learning and behaviour.Gaining exposure to different schools and teaching styles.We’re looking for:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✅ Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings.
✅ Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
✅ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).Location: Wigan
Start: ASAP or September

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
