Part-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)Location:Residential Educational Setting- L17, L35, L6This is a residential educational setting providing nurturing, structured learning and daily support to children and young people aged 10–18 with a broad spectrum of additional needs. Our mission is to blend high-quality academic instruction with compassionate care, empowering every learner to build independence, confidence, and achievement.The Role:We’re recruiting a dedicated Part-Time HLTA to enhance our team. You’ll possess strong academic skills and practical driving ability—key for supporting students both in class and transport. This role blends classroom leadership, individualized teaching, and safe student conveyance.Key Responsibilities:Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic support, adapting lessons to diverse learning profiles and needs.Lead whole-class instruction in the absence of teaching staff, applying effective strategies for learners with additional needs.Plan and evaluate differentiated learning activities, tracking student progress and adjusting approaches accordingly.Drive students safely to school-related engagements or appointments, managing travel logistics and safeguarding throughout.Collaborate closely with teachers, residential staff, and families to ensure coherence in educational and support plans.Foster learners’ independence, resilience, and emotional well-being in both educational and residential environments.Essential Requirements:Proven experience in a teaching support role—particularly with students with additional needs (e.g., SEMH, autism, learning differences).Strong academic capability, especially in supporting core subjects (e.g., English, Maths, Science).Full UK driving licence and comfortable driving as part of the role.Excellent communication and collaborative skills.A caring, pa
