The Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker with significant statutory children and families experience to manage a complex and diverse caseload.You will be responsible for:
  • Undertaking comprehensive assessments of need and risk.
  • Developing and implementing robust care plans in collaboration with children, families, and partner agencies.
  • Leading child protection investigations and safeguarding enquiries.
  • Preparing and presenting reports for Child Protection Conferences, Looked After Children Reviews, and court proceedings.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure effective interventions and positive outcomes for children.
  • Providing direct work with children and families, building strong relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Navigating complex family dynamics and challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
