This is a large multidisciplinary office.This team undertakes the following tasksDesign of structures, including commercial, education and high rise residential projectsFoundation design and assessmentThe team is highly motivated and committed to the delivery of successful projects for their clients. This ethos has resulted in an expanding workload and the requirement for a Structural Engineer.Relevant skills & experiencePost-graduate experience with the design of building structuresDesign experience in all common building materialsBIM experience would be an advantageAn ability to engage with external stakeholders with minimal supervisionAn ability to represent the company professionallyGood communication skillsAn ability to communicate effectively and work within a teamGood commercial awarenessAn accredited degree (or equivalent) recognized by the IStructE or ICEProjects include a number of high profile local schemesA Graduate Structural Engineer will ordinarily undertake the following tasksAssist and carry out structural design in steel, concrete, timber and masonryLiaise with clients, project team members and local authoritiesCo-ordinate whole projects and packages of work with minimal assistanceEnhance and promote the image of the company by their actionsAttend site and design team meetingsEngage in your own personal developmentRemuneration and trainingThe company will provide a competitive salary, a contribution towards a personal pension scheme and professional membership fees, which are paid for one organisation.
