Job descriptionWe are looking for a teaching assistant with a real passion for helping children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will be qualified/experience. Newly qualified lvl 2 and lvl 3 Teaching assistants are welcome to apply.Details:
  • Location – Leeds
  • Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Contract or position start date – October 6th
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Long-Term Contract
  • Full time/Part time – Full time
  • Rate of pay – GBP85 – GBP115 per day (depending on experience)
  • Hours 8:30 am 3:30pm : Mon Fri (term time only)
Responsibilities:
Support and scaffold children in the classroom.
Prepare resources with the teacher.
Work effectively in Partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least Level 2 trained
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
