Senior Earthworks TechnicianEarthworks and Field TestingAre you interested in Materials Testing? We have a great opportunity for a committed Senior Earthworks Technician to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.We are looking for a dependable, dedicated and flexible Senior Earthworks Technician to join our UKAS accredited Materials Team. As a member of Materials, it is key that you are able to thrive in a Team environment, as well as independently. The fundamental part of the role it to determine the physical properties of a wide range of materials including concrete, earthworks, aggregates and bituminous mixtures to ensure compliance with specifications. All testing will be undertaken in line with a range of British, European and American standards so a good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures is required.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
  • Field tests on small and large Earthworks projects
  • Stabilisation projects
  • Time management of the of field testing
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • A clear background in Earthworks projects
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in a wide range of field tests
