A shipbuilding company based in the Wirral is hiring an ICT apprentice who will be responsible for supporting the ICT technician role. They learn from experience and are educated by supervising roles within the IT estate.Duties
  • To support service users and IT systems
  • Follow Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Controls and legislation to protect themselves, others and business assets
  • Adhere to IT policies and security framework
  • To promote and follow the business's core behaviours, vision and mission statement
  • Will comply with any reasonable request made by management to meet the demands of the business
About youTo be an IT Support Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* - C, 4-9) including Maths and English.This 16-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £15,887.04 per year.Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 IT qualifications.Skills and personal qualities required
  • Able to visualise, articulate and solve complex problems
  • Conducts the lifecycle management for assets, including hardware, software, intellectual property, licences, warranties etc.
  • Passion for technology and computers
  • Basic IT knowledge
