Role: Primary Teaching AssistantsLocation: OrmskirkSalary: £430-£450 per week (dependent on experience)Working Days: full-time or flexible hoursConnex Education is working in partnership with some excellent primary schools in Ormskirk to recruit primary teaching assistants for various supply roles for the new academic school year.About the Schools:Connex Education has built strong relationships with primary schools in Ormskirk over the past few years. The primary schools in question are in a great location for teaching assistants located anywhere in Sefton, West Lancashire, and Liverpool.About the roles:Connex Education are seeking proactive, engaging, and compassionate teaching assistants who can bring enthusiasm and positivity to classroom environments in Ormskirk. Connex Education will have a range of day-to-day bookings to cover sickness, long-term bookings to cover staff absences or permanent vacancies, and part-time bookings in schools (2/3 set days per week).Experience working and supporting in primary school classrooms is essential.Why choose Connex Education?

Qualifications and requirements:
  • Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
  • Prior experience working in education is essential.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
  • It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
