- Provide emotional and social support to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
- Develop and implement tailored activities that promote personal development, resilience, and social skills.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and inclusion.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to support individual learning and behaviour plans.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where students feel valued and understood.
- A specialist educational setting catering to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Provides tailored support and individualized learning plans to meet diverse learning, communication, and physical needs.
- Focuses on developing students’ academic, social, emotional, and life skills.
- Creates a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes wellbeing and independence.
- Prioritizes safeguarding, positive behaviour management, and emotional wellbeing.
- Build trusting and positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and personal growth.
- Deliver and facilitate targeted activities that promote confidence, communication, and social skills.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support individual education and care plans.
- Act as a key worker or mentor for specific students, monitoring wellbeing and progress.
- Assist students in managing challenging behaviours using positive behaviour support techniques.
- Have a passion for supporting and helping children.
- Be dedicated to improving outcomes for all children.
- Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD.
- Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
- Have a desire to work within education.
- Have/ be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
