You’ll play a vital role in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting across a diverse range of commercial and industrial premises.The RoleAs a Fire Alarm Engineer, you’ll be a key part of our field service team, ensuring that life safety systems across our client base remain reliable, compliant, and effective.Your role will involve:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
  • Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and system upgrades.
  • Work primarily across Sussex with occasional wider travel.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service, building trusted relationships with clients.
  • Ensure all systems comply with fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., BS 5839 & BS5266).
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and relevant compliance standards.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
  • Professional communication and organisational skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
  • FIA or BFC certification (preferred but not essential).
