💰 £100-£120 per dayProspero Teaching are looking for a dedicated and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist school in Oldbury, supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and a range of complex needs.💡 What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting pupils with significant physical, learning, and sensory needs in the classroom and through therapeutic activities.
- Providing personal care and assisting with mobility (hoists and specialist equipment - full training provided if needed).
- Helping deliver individualised learning plans and communication support.
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to create a positive, consistent learning experience.
- Encouraging independence and celebrating every achievement - big or small.
- Experience working with pupils with PMLD, complex medical needs, or in a care/support setting.
- MUST have a level 3 UK qualification and a minimum of 6 months experience working in the UK
- Kindness, patience, and emotional resilience - a must.
- Confidence in assisting with personal care and physical support.
- A proactive and team-focused attitude.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
